Deep Creek Lake was built in 1925, spans over 3,900 acres, is 12+ miles long, and has 69 miles of shoreline. The lake is the largest inland body of water in Maryland and offers great activities like swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, and other water sports. Common fish that can be found in Deep Creek Lake include smallmouth bass, walleye, rainbow trout, bluegill, rock bass, pike, and many others.
