With over 132 acres of skiable terrain, 32 ski slopes, tubing park, and terrain park, you can get your fill of winter activities all in one spot. Winter Sports
Deep Creek turns into a winter wonderland once it starts to snow. Get out and explore the many ski/snowboard trails, tubing park, terrain park, and even the mountain coaster! The mountain offers more than 35 slopes, two terrain parks, and a beginner section with a magic carpet. There are 7 chairs total that allow of easy access across the entire mountain. Wisp Resort produces hundreds of inches of man-made snow throughout the season as weather permits. This allows them to keep the mountain up, running, and fresh - no matter the natural snow amount. Wisp Resort also offers a tubing park, featuring two magic carpets that take you right to the top, and groomed tubing lanes. Take a spin around the ice-rink, too!
Aerial Adventure
Try out one of the tree canopy tour ziplines: Chipmunk Challenge Course, Spider Monkey Adventure Course, or the Flying Squirrel canopy tour. Why not test your limits and go for a more thrilling adventure? The Chipmunk Challenge Course is designed for children - providing a fun and mildly challenging course, guided by a staff member. The Spider Monkey Adventure Course is made for the daring! Test your balance and skill through this course and zip line back to the start. The Flying Squirrel Canopy tour offers 7 zips and 2 bridges taking you through the trees and offering beautiful views of the lake and mountains around Deep Creek.
Escape Games
Looking for a rainy day activity? Test your skills at one of two escape games, Race to the Slopes and Detention Breakout. These games will keep you puzzled and having fun. Escape games are located on the lower level of the McHenry Lodge. A newer addition and rising trend for groups, the Escape Room is a great group activity for any season - especially a great a rainy day activity!
Whitewater Rafting
At the top of Wisp Resort, you'll find ASCI (Adventure Sports Center International), the one of a kind recirculating whitewater course atop Marsh Mountain. Water is pumped into the 1/4 mile of rapids and falls into the lower pond. A 270 foot conveyor belt takes rafters back up to the top for another trip around the course! *Plesae note, ASCI is currently closed for the 2020 season*
Mountain Activities
When it is not winter, take advantage of amazing views all over the mountain! You can enjoy mountain biking, a disc golf course, the mountain coaster, archery, and even scenic chairlift rides.
