Local grocery stores and pharmacies remain open and are stocked with food and most supplies. The majority of restaurants are open for indoor dining, outdoor dining, and carry-out orders with restrictions. All local restaurant’s current hours of operation and updates to their delivery/pick-up methods can be found through their respective Facebook pages. The Community Aquatic and Recreation Center (CARC) reopened on Friday, June 19th at 5pm.
As of 6/19/20 at 5pm: Our indoor pool, game room, fitness room, and racquetball court are now open during business hours with social distancing measures. The whirlpool hot tub remains closed due to State of Maryland and Garrett County Covid-19 regulations.
Our Amenities & Restaurant:
Our on-site restaurant, Ace’s Run, is now open Daily at 11am for Outdoor Dining, Indoor Dining, and Take-Out/Curbside for Lunch and Dinner. Call for more information at 301-387-6688. Their sister restaurants are open as well! Trader’s Coffee House 301-387-9246, and Brenda’s Pizzeria 301-387-1007 are open daily. Order online, or call ahead for Curbside pickup! Check out their Facebook pages for the most up to date information and hours of operation.
Our lakefront docks, beach, and chairs are available to our hotel guests only and we suggest social distancing when using the area. Guests are welcome to swim at their own risk. Dock Slips are available to hotel guests on a first come-first serve basis and should be registered at the front desk. Boat Trailer parking is available across the street in a designated area. Please do not park boat trailers on-site.
By entering and using any building amenity, you take full responsibility for your own protection and any surface that you touch. Face covering/masks are required when in the common areas of the building. Management is not responsible.
Pool Room and Pool: The pool is open from 8AM – 8PM daily. Please sign in using the sign in sheet on the clipboard at any of the three entrances to the pool room. The maximum capacity of the pool area/pool is 16 persons. Practice 6 ft. social distancing and a maximum group gathering of no more than 10 people. Please respect other guests desiring to use the pool area by limiting your stay to 90 minutes at a time.
Hot Tub: The hot tub is closed at this time.
Exercise Room: The maximum capacity of the exercise room is 10 people at a time. Maintain 6 ft. social distancing and wipe the equipment you use before leaving. Open from 7AM – 8PM.
Game Room: The maximum capacity of the game room is 10 people. Open from 8AM – 8PM.
Dry Sauna: The dry sauna is closed at this time.
Racquetball Room: Open from 8AM – 8PM daily.
Beach and Boat Slips: Outdoor amenities are open. Practice 6 ft social distancing and limit group gathering size to no more than 10 people.
Precautionary Measures Currently Being Utilized:
Our guests will check in at the front desk and receive their keys and code. The staff will practice social distancing to answer any of your questions. If you will be arriving after 6pm for check-in, you will pick up your key packet at Arrowhead Market with your photo ID. Arrowhead Market is open 24 hours and is located less than half a mile from the hotel (specific instructions/directions given in your pre-arrival emails).
Our front desk is still open in the event you have an issue or emergency. We ask that our guests please contribute to the welfare of the community by following social distancing procedures, however we are here to help in the event an issue or emergency arises. Preparing For Your Arrival:
Our housekeeping staff has always used, and will continue to use, high-grade disinfectant and multi-purpose cleaner, utilizing disposable hand wipes instead of reusable cloths. Our staff is also increasing focus on frequently touched items, such as doorknobs, faucets, switches, etc. and ensuring all guidelines recommended by the CDC and County Health Department regarding special practices for COVID-19 prevention are followed.
Throughout Your Visit:
Our team is taking extra measures to communicate the importance to all staff who may be ill to stay home. Our staff at work are practicing good hygiene through frequent hand washing and the use of disinfectant, and wiping down surfaces in our work space, as well as practicing social distancing recommendations. Our front desk will be staffed during the day from 8am – 6pm daily, and are available after hours for emergencies and maintenance concerns.
Vacation Rental Cancellations:
Our standard cancellation policy is now fully in affect for all future reservations.
